On demand printing and binding or also referred to "publish on demand"
is a printing technology that allows an individual to print new copies of books by transferring files from a disc or as an attachment to an e-mail. We can print and bind one book or 500 books. This method uses digital printing and each page is printed on a single sheet. Also this type of printing makes it a perfect candidate for hard case binding.
When you submit your document for printing, you must use Adobe Acrobat PDF
files. Adobe is the least likely software program to change its format from your original disc or attachment when printed.
We will print on a 28 pound paper in white or cream for one sided copies and we will use 60 pound paper for double sided copies in white or cream. This is an uncoated paper.
At Denver Bookbinding, you are not limited to a final book cover size of 8.5 x 11 or 5.5 x 8.5. If you want a smaller book or a larger book or an off sized book, we can help you there too. You need to set up your print files on your page so they look
appealing but if you want a book made 4.25 wide x 11 tall, we are there to help you make it a reality.
Please use our On Demand Printing and Binding form to get an estimated cost for your project.
