Get away from your regular routine and join us in Leadville Colorado
for a weekend of crafts, history and relaxation.
Saturday evening, please join Oscar Wilde at the Tabor Opera House, as he
re-enacts his last performance in Leadville to the Silver Kings and the local miners,
in his own enchanting words and ways.
June 28 ( Sunday morning) there is an optional tour of the Healy House or the Heritage Museum before it is time to head home and all before noon and the 1-70 rush. There is a nominal charge at the door, but it will give you a deeper insight into Colorado’s historical roots.
Oscar Wilde Night at the Tabor Opera House starts at 6 p.m. on June 27th.
The door fee is 15.00 and can be paid at the door.
If you want just a day trip from Denver, the Fresh City Life at Denver Public Library
has chartered a bus to Leadville. The day is your own to visit museums, have lunch,
walk around the shops and then a ticket to the Oscar Wilde event at the Tabor Opera House. Space is limited.
The bus to Leadville, the entry to the Opera House and the ride back to Denver
is $30.00 for everything. You only need to bring your own lunch money!
The Delaware Hotel is offering a 10 percent discount to LERCH students. Their phone is 1-800-748-2004 and you must identify yourself as a LERCH
student to get the deal.
Payment for the chartered bus needs to be paid prior to the weekend.
